Tendering Simplified: Navigating Tender Portals Successfully!

The workshop is split into three (3) x one (1) hour modules and has been developed to provide a general overview and awareness of the procurement/tendering process.

This first module will provide easy-to-follow information on the following topics:

– Introduction to Tendering Portals (including GOV.UK, NEPO, ProContract and more)

– Different Tender Types including single-action tenders, Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS), Frameworks and Imposed Pricing.

– Finding Current Opportunities

– Searching the Contracts Register for potential Sub-Contract openings.

– Procurement Pipeline

The individual sessions are completely flexible and consider the potential varied experience of participants; attendees do not require any prior knowledge to participate.

Michael Shiel is a partner in KMS Business Development and Improvement Solutions (KMS BDIS), who are a specialist service provider based in the North East of England.

Michael previously had >25-years corporate experience in the preparation and submittal of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) bids worldwide, whilst for the last 5-years, KMS BDIS have worked extensively with numerous SMEs to help them tender and win public and private sector contracts in a wide-variety of market areas.
