Wed | Sep 22 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 22nd within the ballroom of the beautiful Seaham Hall Hotel. Networking is open from 8.30am and the event itself will start at 9am.
As well as being a big day for members of East Durham’s business community, who for so long have had to navigate their way through Teams and Zoom sessions to enable them to communicate with the outside world, the event will also mark an exciting new chapter for the Peterlee and Seaham groups.
Having taken the time to review all elements of our brand and identity, the continued expansion of the groups’ regional profile and the success of our flagship East Durham Business magazine, we have decided to re-launch as the ‘East Durham Business Network’.
We feel now is the perfect time to build on the progress we’ve made through the Peterlee and Seaham groups and create a brand that truly reflects where we are today.
And of course, there is no better location than the 5* Seaham Hall Hotel to announce this exciting new venture.
So, what can you expect from our event? Well, networking of course, but equally in the current climate, there will be some differences that regular attendees will notice.
Masks must be worn unless seated and when you are shown to your table, social distancing will be maintained.
This particular Network with your Neighbour event will also be slightly different in structure.
As always there will be an introduction from chairman of the group Paul Wellstead. This will be followed by an update from Sarah Slaven, managing director at Business Durham, and an overview of the new ‘East Durham Business Network’ from Leanne Fawcett, before the session opens up to attendees who will have the opportunity to say a few words about their business. There will also be a Q&A.
We do hope you are able to join us for our Network with your Neighbour event – we expect demand to be high and as there is a limit on numbers, we would advise you book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
** Priority will be given to businesses located in the East Durham region – Seaham, Peterlee, Sedgefield, Durham, Wingate, Bowburn, The Trimdons and Ferryhill**
